His passions lie in executive recruitment, Talent Acquisition leadership, and Co-founding an HR tech SaaS solution. He’s had Executive Recruiting and TA Leadership roles at high-growth startups in series A to series D funding rounds, two of which were “Unicorns” ($1B in valuation). As the leader, he has also been responsible for recruiting executives for Fintech, Security, Martech, and Web 3 Blockchain Gaming companies.
Mike’s recruiting focus has been primarily in Marketing, HR, Finance, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Management, and SaaS sales roles. As a fractional leader, Mike is a forward-thinking, creative leader who brings years of making mistakes, iterating, and finding solutions to fast-growing organizations. He has extensive experience creating and driving a Global Talent Acquisition strategy in early, mid, and late-stage startups while navigating the inherent ambiguity within those organizations. Skilled in developing roadmaps, establishing talent strategies, and implementing recruiting initiatives, policies, and practices to attract diverse, high-performing talent. Mike lives in the northwest side of Chicago, is married to a talented actor and artistic director, and has two kids, two cats, and one fish. For fun, Mike has been improvising in Chicago for over twenty years and performed at the Playground Theater with his longtime improv team, “Mustang Repair”.
